Get Corruption Out Of Our Politics - 75% of Americans Agree!

Get Corruption Out Of Our Politics - 75% of Americans Agree!

By Dark Politricks

This is a YoungTurks video about getting corruption out of politics and is a leader to my article and a subsequent video.

This second video shows how people from any political persuasion whether it be from the left or right of politics, green, libertarian, conservative or liberal can actually get corruption out of politics and gives us a road map to doing so.

75% of people across the country agree that big money = votes and there are some very surprising stats in the next video which show how very few people actually control Congress and the Presidential Elections through their use of their money.

These "influencers" are literally in the hundreds!

Whilst everyone may have a vote to chose their President or Congressman, the power of money influences the choices brought before the electorate in the first place.

The Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court was a decision that was hated by Conservatives and Liberals alike.

Crony Capitalism and Corporate Interests overriding the public interest has been firmly cemented into the US political arena and with most ex-politicians becoming K-Street Lobbyists there is a series of revolving doors that prevents change from occurring within the establishment.

It's akin to asking to a builder to stop laying bricks and not get paid. Nearly all politicians act in their OWN interest and not the PUBLIC INTEREST.

My own essays have repeatedly called for getting money out of politics so that politicians don't have to sell their soul to the devil to get elected and then re-elected. Personally I would also append term limits and a way to reduce the influence of lobbyists from politics from any grass up anti-corruption movement.

Politicians should take the wishes of the people who voted for them into consideration over any rich benefactor or paymaster and in this day and age we should not find it too hard with modern technology to give more power to interested people to influence decision making.

People who don't care about politics or know nothing about complex issues are likely to vote on gut feeling alone, the latest anti-immigrant leaflet that comes through their door or not bother voting at all.

People who are interested in the issues of the day do vote but are constantly dismayed over the lack of progress or gridlock in their own government that prevents real change from ever occurring.

We currently have an over reaching US government that has broken free from the constraints of the constitution.

Starting wars without consent, constant spying of their citizens, and ignoring the "piece of paper" that is there to limit NOT expand the Presidents executive power. It is actions like these that make the ignorant or carefree politically active.

In my own country the UK it is the same, the 3 main parties are all fighting over centre ground and there is no real choice.

For a new party or a small one like UKIP or the Greens to have any influence at home only a fairer system in which televised political debates involve more parties and new parties can get on the ladder. We need every party to be able to fight on an even footing if it is to be fair for the future.

In this regard I can only see publicly funded elections as a means to bringing more political parties to the forefront.

To prevent a two man band of crazies getting the same amount of money as a major party the amount of public purse given to any political party should be decided on the number of votes they can muster. The better they do the more money they get.

Further money should only come from small donations and not big business looking to block the next big issue on the horizon.

There are a lot of choices out there for anyone looking to change the current way our governments work. However the most important aim is to reduce the influence of a tiny few super rich people and give more "real" choice to the people when they go to vote.

The next video shows how corrupt the current system is and gives the people a route to changing it.

Anoynmous and the Al-Quds Brigade hack IDF Forces and Israeli Computer Systems and prevent a Republican President from stealing the US election!

Anoynmous and  the Al-Quds Brigade hack IDF Forces and Israeli Computer Systems and prevent a Republican President from stealing the US election!

By Dark Politricks

Recently we have had Anonymous claim to have used the "Great Oz Firewall" to prevent Karl Rove and co steal the American election.

This was by blocking his own hack attempts into key computers in swing states such as Iowa and Florida to switch votes over from Obama to Romney as apparently happened in 2000 and 2004.

Apparently a "power cut" occurred at exactly the same time this year as it did in 2004 and allowed the company connected to the Republicans to hook into electronic voting machines and toggle votes over to from the Democratic candidate to his opponent i.e. George W Bush.

If these claims by Anonymous are true then it truly is a shocking indictment of US politics and elections and just shows that even in democracies elections can be stolen.

It would certainly explain Karl Roves outburst on FOX News when he couldn't believe that Iowa had been declared so prematurely.

Was he expecting something to happen, a power cut maybe, one that maybe occurred but didn't have the desired effect due to the Great OZ Firewall Anonymous claims to have introduced to prevent this from occurring?

This is what Anonymous said before the election and indicated that they were watching Karl Roves attempts to influence the outcome by vote switching.

Then the other day when Israel started Operation Pillar of Defense, their latest attack on Gaza, Anonymous claimed to have infiltrated Israeli computer systems.

This included stealing thousands of email addresses and passwords, hacking hundreds of Israeli Web sites including government-owned ones as well as privately owned pages. They also hacked Israeli databases belonging to the Bank of Jerusalem and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A quote from their report on their attack which can be read in full here says:
Let us once again be perfectly clear: Anonymous does not in any way support the use of violence. Anonymous is a world wide collective of individuals whose means pursue human rights, justice, and universal equality for the citizens of every nation.

Pro-Israeli groups throughout the world have grown from a foundation of Israeli/US propaganda and lies. They arbitrarily dismiss the apartheid system of racial segregation and oppression imposed by the Israeli government on the Palestinian people. The fact of the matter is, in the eyes of the media, only the United States and it’s allies are capable of labelling another state or organization as a terrorists.

Throughout our campaign, we've been inundated with one response in particular; references to Hamas hiding in school buildings or using women and children as human shields. Selective memory seems to have given pro-Israeli organizations the ability to forget that in 2005 Israeli Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz appeared in court to defend the practice of using Palestinians as human shields in combat after a supreme court outlawed the practice, noting it violated International Law.

The reasons for Anonymous intervention through #OpIsrael should be abundantly clear: What is happening in Palestine is oppression. They have no navy, no army, or air force. There is no war in Gaza. There is only the continuous application of military force by Israel in an attempt to push every last person out of the Palestinian state, despite international laws that make these efforts illegal.
Then we also learn that the Al-Quds Brigades' intelligence apparatus was able on Saturday to penetrate 5000 mobile phones that belong to Zionist soldiers who are taking part in the offensive against Gaza, and send them warning messages in Hebrew that said:
"We will turn Gaza into a graveyard for your soldiers, and will turn Tel Aviv into flames (Al-Quds Brigades)".
This faction further published files that belong to Zionist soldiers and that included important information (personal papers, names, birthdays, duties, private and work phone numbers, emails, jobs, positions, ID numbers, ages, and addresses). A scare tactic that is one of the few open to them at the moment as thousands of IDF troops amass on the border of Gaza ready to attack the population as they did in Operation Cast Lead.

It seems that whilst Israel and the USA can create the Stuxnet and Flame viruses to take out nuclear installations. The availability of easily downloadable hacking software gives even the smallest army or protest group the chance of fighting back, and anyone can help hack the "enemy" whoever they may be.

Warfare of every kind has truly been changed by the Internet.

The countdown to the US veto on Israeli actions in Gaza starts now

The countdown to the US veto on Israeli actions in Gaza starts now

By Dark Politricks

I am guessing here, but as Israel launches another war on the blockaded Gaza I expect they thought they would have a different President in office.

Someone who Bibi got on a bit better with than Obama and someone who had probably already given him the green light to go ahead with Operation Pillar of Defense as soon as he won the PresidencyThis is the brilliant name they are calling their new onslaught on the cornered in population of Gaza, Operation Cast Lead 2 - the Sequel.

Maybe Obama gave him the same promise as well, I don't know. The final televised debate was definitely a blatant attempt by the two candidates to show Israel who loved them the most and history shows that it doesn't matter who sits in the Oval Office they will always allow Israel to bomb, assassinate and kill their neighbours as they see fit.

If anyone is holding any hope that President Obama has any balls whatsoever to stand up to the Israeli lobby now that he doesn't have to worry about their campaign financing for another election they will surely be disappointed. There is little difference in the Democratic or Republican party when it comes to areas of hypocrisy and warmongering.

However as I watched the news coverage last night something stuck in my mind that one of the presenters said.

As Israel killed 2 kids and called it "collateral damage" on the way to blowing up the chief military commander of HamasAhmed Jabari, someone said - imagine if it was the other way round.
The USA wanted the Palestinians to have a democratic election and they did. They just didn't like the outcome of it - democracy our way or none at all is their mantra.

However Hamas was democratically elected and it is a political party.

If Palestine is to become a proper nation, with borders then it is to have a police force as well as some form of defensive force.

Therefore it's leaders, however much you might despise them, are leaders of their "country" and rulers of their government in the same way as Benjamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak are leaders of Israel, Obama and Hilary are of the USA and David Cameron and Nick Clegg are in the UK.

However even though the Israeli Defence Force was born out of the early terrorist gangs that killed hundreds of British soldiers and Palestinians in their "fight for freedom" by assassinating soldiers and blowing up buildings such as the King David Hotel it seems as if it's one rule for the Israeli's and one for the Palestinians.

Therefore when Ahmed Jabari, the military head of Hamas was killed yesterday, he was the direct equivalent of the Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak.

We all know that it's a fine line between "freedom fighter" and "terrorist" as this article makes clear, but just imagine if Hamas had killed Ehud Barak in the same way Israel had killed Ahmed Jabari yesterday.

How many Palestinians in Gaza would be left to tell the tale? I doubt very many.

Maybe it's actions like this new onslaught against Gaza that led to a study that was commissioned by the US Intelligence Community into continued US support of illegal Israeli actions. This report comprised of 16 American intelligence agencies including:

The Departments of the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Defense Intelligence Agency, Departments of Energy, Homeland Security, State, Treasure, Drug Enforcement Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Security Agency, National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency.

This 82 page study was called “Preparing For A Post Israel Middle East”, and concluded that the American national interest was fundamentally at odds with that of Zionist Israel as it prevented normal US relations with Middle Eastern countries and the rest of the world. It's main conclusions were:
  • Israel, given its current brutal occupation and belligerence cannot  be salvaged any more than apartheid south Africa could be when as late as 1987 Israel was the only “Western” nation that upheld diplomatic ties with South Africa and was the last country to join the international boycott campaign before the regime collapsed;
  • The Israel leadership, with its increasing support of the 700,000 settlers in illegal colonies in the occupied West Bank is increasing out of touch with the political, military and economic realities of the Middle East;
  • The post Labor government Likud coalition is deeply complicit with and influenced by the settlers’ political and financial power and will increasingly face domestic civil strife which the US government should not associate itself with or become involved with;
  • The Arab Spring and Islamic Awakening has to a major degree freed a large majority of the 1.2 billion Arab and Muslims to pursue what an overwhelming majority believe is the illegitimate, immoral and unsustainable European occupation of Palestine of the indigenous population;
  • Simultaneous with, but pre-dating  rapidly expanding Arab and Muslim power in the region as evidenced by the Arab spring, Islamic Awakening and the ascendancy of Iran, as American power and influence recedes,  the US commitment to belligerent oppressive Israel is becoming impossible to defend or execute consistent given paramount US national interests which include normalizing relations with the 57 Islamic countries;
  • Gross Israeli interference in the internal affairs of the United States through spying and illegal US arms transfers. This includes supporting more than 60 ‘front organizations’ and  approximately 7,500 US officials who do Israel’s bidding and seek to dominate and intimidate the media and agencies of  the US government which should no longer be condoned;
  • That the United States government no longer has the financial resources, or public support to continue funding Israel. The billions of dollars in direct and indirect aid from US taxpayers to Israel since 1967 is not affordable and is increasingly being objected to by US taxpayers who oppose continuing American military involvement in the Middle East. US public opinion no longer supports funding and executing widely perceived illegal US wars on Israel’s behalf. This view is increasingly being shared by Europe, Asia and the International public;
  • Israel’s segregationist occupation infrastructure evidenced by  legalized discrimination and increasingly separate and unequal justice systems must no longer be directly or indirectly funded by the US taxpayers or  ignored by the US government;
  • Israel has failed as a claimed democratic state and continued American financial and political cover will not change its continuing devolution as international pariah state;
  • Increasingly,  rampant and violent racism exhibited among Jewish settlers in the West Bank is being condoned by the Israeli government to a degree  that the Israel government has become its protector and partner;
  • The expanding chasm among American Jews objecting to Zionism and Israeli practices, including the killing and brutalizing of Palestinians under Israeli occupationare gross violations of American and International law and raise questions within the US Jewish community regarding the American responsibility to protect (R2P) innocent civilians under occupation;
  • The international opposition to the increasingly apartheid regime can no longer be synchronized with American claimed humanitarian values or US expectations in its bi-lateral relations with the 193 member United Nations;
  • The Draft ends with language about the need to avoid entangling alliances that alienate much of the World and condemn American citizens to endure the consequences.
I wonder whether the actions of the Israeli government in Gaza yesterday and over the next days (and maybe even weeks) will have any effect on the authors of this study and US actions towards Israel.

It is certainly clear that certain parts of the US Defence Apparatus don't like Israel's unilateral actions in the Middle East so I wonder whether Operation Pillar of Defense will actually change President Obama's governments actions towards Israel in any way. Or more likely will he continue to slavishly bend over and let the Israeli's get away with another war on a civilian population with nowhere to run to for refuge as Israel breaks international law once again.

The countdown to the US veto on Israeli actions in Gaza starts now.

Why the Grand Bargain will prove Obama isn't a liberal and it's business as usual in Washington

Why the Grand Bargain will prove Obama isn't a liberal and it's business as usual in Washington

By Dark Politricks

There has been a lot of talk lately about the "Grand Bargain" that is going to be made between Obama and the GOP to try and balance the books and prevent the government's having to deal with the "deficit cliff" that would massively reduce spending and raise taxes.

This is something Cenk Uygur talks about in this video. About how the real aim is to let the right of centre President Obama make a deal with the Republican party in the lame duck session so that business can continue as usual. The real aim being to once again lett the poor and the middle class suffer by giving away cuts to their services and benefits in exchange for tax cuts to the wealthy. Once again the poor get screwed so the rich can get richer.

This is something that Cenk's math's shows is totally unnecessary and can be avoided just by letting the George W Bush tax cuts expire by kicking the ball into the long grass and waiting for a Democratic controlled house.

Although Cenk is obviously a liberal he is someone who attacks both Obama for his non progressive views and his right of centre beliefs.

As I previously stated if Obama WAS a true liberal he would not be doing any of the following:

  • Allowing the Federal government to go after State legal pot dispensaries for medicinal marijuana.
  • Also threatening the new states Colorado and Washington who have recently legalised recreational marijuana with the DEA. Both wasting time, money and ignoring the wishes of the states population. See the Anti State Rights Pledge here.
  • Continuing the war on terror in a more forcible way than his predecessor George W Bush. Including drone strikes that kill 49 civilians to every 1 terrorist.
  • Letting soldiers based in America use Playstation controllers to kill people halfway across the world as if it was just another version of Call of Duty. Then already de-sensitised by not having these soldiers in the "kill zone", seeing the carnage they have wrought first hand, they use a double tap method to kill anyone else who comes to the aid of the victims whether they are women, children or other non combatants.
  • Introducing blatantly anti-liberal laws such as the NDAA, continuing the State of Emergency enacted after 9.11 and letting the PATRIOT ACT continue on harassing and spying on citizens and journalists alike who are trying to bring some accountability to the government.
  • Allowing his much "celebrated" health care act to become a piece of legislation that both liberals and conservatives hate in that it forces people to pay for a product they may or may not want or use. He modelled it on a Republicans health care plan (Mitt Rommey) and is basically forcing people to become customers of the health insurance companies. A true liberal would have gone for a public option or none at all not giving an already rich sector of business a market that is compelled to buy their product.

Also if Obama was NOT an establishment stooge he would surely be doing all of the following:

  • Locking up the banksters that brought the USA and then the world to it's knees financially.
  • Not allowing the FED to continue printing money and devaluing the dollar in a race to the bottom that is killing savers and de-meaning true capitalism.
  • Not appointing neo-con and right wing ministers to head up agencies in Homeland Security, the DEA, the CIA and the Department of Defence.
  • Cutting and not increasing the Department of Defences already bloated budget and using the money to fund projects that help middle class Americans NOT the military industrial complex.
  • Reeling back the intrusive surveillance state that has seen a million Americans become holders of top secret intelligence clearance and introduced huge city sized databases such as the one being built under UTAH. All to hold all the information gained by spying on American and Europeans bank records, phone calls, text messages, CCTV footage (see TRAPWIRE) and Internet usage.
  • Allowing big business and well funded lobbyists to dictate his policy instead of trying to take corporate money out of politics.
  • Following the right wing pro-Israeli line that all American Presidents seem to take. Forgetting all their breaches of international law, illegal wars, assassinations in foreign lands, illegal settlement buildings and illegal blockades that Israel constantly inflict on Palestinians and their neighbours.

However Obama is not a true liberal.

He is a centre right politician who is both an establishment stooge and someone beholden to big business and the banksters who robbed the country.

He is also someone all too willing to compromise what little beliefs he has to get bi-paritsan support in Congress whether or not that means sacrificing whatever little principles he may or may not hold.

As Cenk says:
"First of all, let's establish that no one in Washington actually cares about balancing the budget. If they did, they would love this so-called Fiscal Cliff. It raises taxes and cuts spending, so it would massively reduce the deficit. Isn't that what all of Washington has been pretending to care about all of this time?

Second, understand that this so-called compromise they are talking about in order to avoid this supposed calamity is a trick. In fact, it'll be the greatest robbery in American history. Think about it -- they say they are worried about all those tax increases and spending cuts. But that's not true. The Grand Bargain would dramatically increase spending cuts, not alleviate them. So, in fact, the only thing they care about is paying less taxes, as always."
Watch Cenk explain his maths and the unfairness of the "Grand Bargain" below.

The failed war on drugs and the anti-states pledge

The failed war on drugs and the anti-states pledge

By Dark Politricks

As you may or may not know when America went to the polling booths last weeks to vote for their President they also had a chance to vote for numerous other politicians at various levels of the government as well as state level ballot initiatives which are a referendum of the people on a certain subject.

The two most pertinent ones to this post are the ballots in Washington and Colorado that legalised Marijuana in those states for recreational use. Not just medicinal use as many other states have already done but pure recreational use.

Now my position on drugs is clearAll drugs should all be legalised and regulated. The fact that they are illegal causes so many social and health problems as well as draining resources from the government it is unbelievable.

Cigarettes and alcohol are much more dangerous to society and to peoples health yet they remain legal. In a logical world they would be banned and other drugs that claim many less lives per year - mainly due to their impure nature because of their illegality - would be legalised.

In these times of austerity would you rather you local policeman was out looking for rapists and murderers or bashing down the door of a teenage pot smoker?

On top of that just imagine if drugs were probably regulated and sold at their real price instead of the over inflated prices they are currently are sold at due to their illegality.

The amount of money brought in as tax revenue would probably close the UK's deficit in a year. The reason so much crime is committed by addicts to pay for their drugs is due to their over pricing which is also due to them being illegal. Cut the price, cut the crime. Make them available on prescription, cut all the crime.

Just imagine  the money that could be saved by not having the Police force, who are already being cut back due to lack of funds, from wasting their time on small drug busts. Or the cost of insurance claims from people who have had their houses or cars broken into so an addict can pay for their next fix.
Before 1968 and then the 1973 Misuse of Drugs Act in the UK Heroin and Cocaine addicts could obtain their fixes easily from their local doctor. It was called the British Experiment.

Doctors can still obtain special licences to dispense heroin if they wish but it is much more tightly regulated and there are very few who do this apart from some drug addiction treatment centres where they are trialing giving addicts heroin in a safe and clean environment. The evidence from these trials show that not only does giving addicts heroin in a clean environment cuts crime but it also cuts their use of street drugs as well.

However the UK government would rather give addicts a more addictive drug instead - Methadone.

A drug that has been known to kill small children when they stumble across it due to it's sweet taste and one that is much more addictive and harder to come off than Heroin due to the length of time it stays in the body.

However it is used, despite the addict still wanting to take Heroin - for that is their drug of choice, because:
  1. It's cheaper.
  2. It comes in liquid form so it can be reduced in small levels easily over time and,
  3. It doesn't give the addict any form of high (unless they drink the whole bottle) - another reason most Methadone users still use Heroin on top of their prescription.
In my eyes these are 3 good reasons to give heroin addicts heroin and not Methadone as if they are still out committing acquisitive crimes (robberies, shoplifting, burglaries etc) to get money to pay for the drug they really want, rather than the drug they are given, the scheme is not working.
Now this article is not about Heroin in the UK it is about the failed war on drugs in total.

Just like the war on terror which will never be won by dropping bombs from drones on Pakistani villagers, especially with a 49 innocent victims to a single Terrorist kill rateThe war on drugs is a war that will never be won.

This is due to evolved human beings innate desire to give themselves a "rush" whether it be through natural highs like exercise, adrenaline rushes from bungee jumps or chemical highs from stimulant drugs or their desire to block out the pain of a cruel and horrible world that we live in (some worlds more horrible than others) through downers whether it be drinking alcohol, popping pills or smoking opium.

Since the beginning of time man has been altering his mental state with naturally growing herbs, mushrooms and plants and if you are a religious person then you must be a believer in Genesis in which it states quite clearly that God filled the world with plants for man's use.

Why would God bother creating the Opium poppyMarijuana plantsSalviaMagic Mushroomsthe Coca plant and all the other naturally occurring vegetation that covers the earth yet also changes man's mental or physical state when consumed?

Also if you are a believer in States rights as many Republicans are or you see the Federal Government as an all too powerful system that infringes on the right of the state to make their own choices then surely you would be supportive of these ballot initiatives to legalise pot in Colarado and Washington?

If you are hypocritical enough to hold both positions at the same time e.g you want more state rights for the things "you believe in" whilst denying those other fellow citizens then I think you should take the pledge Cenk Uygur gave out on the Young Turks show the other night.
ANTI STATES RIGHT'S PLEDGE
"I have never actually believed in state's rights. Every time I mentioned it I was lying. I promise to never, ever mention it again as long as I shall live."
Not only should Republicans who rattle on about State Rights but support the failed war on drugs make this pledge but so should President Obama who has appointed a right wing, Bush era, Czar to head the DEA - Michele Leonhart.

This should be a sign to anyone on the right who thinks Obama is actually a progressive liberal that he is nothing of the sort. For if he were a true liberal he would be dismantling the failed structures that incarcerate so many people in US prisons every year for mere pot possession. Instead he would be embracing the wind of change that is floating from state to state not battle it with the full force of the Federal government.

That is what a real progressive and liberal President would do.

The fact that he is promising a war against the states who have legalised marijuana for recreational use and already attacked states that have medicinal marijuana shops PROVES he is a right of centre politician and no liberal.

You can watch the Young Turks video in which Cenk Uygur asks hypocritical states rights enthusiasts who don't believe in the ballots to legalise marijuana to make the Anti States Pledge.

Are you happy about President Obama getting a second term?

Are you happy about President Obama getting a second term?

By Dark Politricks

Now President Obama has been re-elected as President of the USA does the thought fill you with joy or dread or is it more a case of choosing the least bad option of a bad bunch.

It seems that the 3rd party candidates from the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, the Justice and Constitution Party hardly made a dent in the political system that seems to be sewn up tightly by the duopoly of Democrats and Republicans who control the Presidential process.

If you voted for President Obama do you honestly believe he will finish off, or even start, the "Hope and Change" that he promised the first time round. Or will he just continue business as usual.

Allowing the banksters of Wall St to continue to steal money from the tax payers, devaluing any savings people may have by continuing to have incredibly low interest rates and allowing any reforms of Wall St such as the Dodd-Frank act to be watered down by the powerful lobbyists. People who seem to be able to control the levers of power to their advantage whoever sits behind the oval desk.

Will he continue building the high tech police surveillance state in which more than a million people have top secret clearance and the war on terror is expanding constantly filling the military industrial complexes pockets with more cash with every civil right crushing, constitution ignoring act he signs into power.

Acts such as the PATRIOT ACT and the NDAA that give him dictatorial powers to kill and indefinitely detain US citizens or start wars without having to pay attention to congress as he did in Libya.

Will he continue to back Jihadists and al-Qaeda linked rebels fighting in Syria as he did in Libya all because the enemy of his enemy is his friend or will he actually grow a pair of balls and decide that morals and ethics are something that America should be an example to the rest of the world who used to believe America was the "good guy".

Will he continue to back Israel as they break international law, execute on tape American citizens, and subjugate the Palestinian people by blocking any bill in the UN with a veto and then attack countries such as Russia and China who do the same when they try to prevent another NATO war in Syria.
Will he even dare to cut the bloated and gigantic Defence budget that is bigger than most of the other countries in the world put together.

A budget that means huge military bases and missile shields that are more of a political statement than any proper aim to defend the US public and only again serve to fill the military industrial complexes coffers.

Just imagine all the things that could be bought with that money - you could even pay for a proper health care system instead of creating a mandatory purchase from insurance companies - a system hated by liberals and conservatives alike.

Does anyone think Obama is a true liberal or as many Republican message boards and blogs like to call him a Marxist or Communist - people who have never obviously read a dictionary. Or is he just a slightly less right wing version of the Republicans

Both are big government parties, the only thing that differs is how much they move the line and what the big government spends the money on.

Whoever won the election we can be sure that the continuation of the Amerika we have all grown to fear will continue and systems like the TSA's porno scanners and TRAPWIRE that monitor US civilians wherever they go will continue to feed into the rising police state system that seems to be expanding forever.

A true liberal would be curtailing these excesses not expanding them.

Let me know what you feel about the result of the election with this poll below and leave your comments in the comment section if possible.

The US Presidential Vote - Do you have another choice?

The US Presidential Vote - Do you have another choice?

By Dark Politricks

Before you go off to vote for Obama or Mitt Romney, both of which I think are poor choices and will do nothing good for America or the world if they win the election, you should have a look at the last third party Presidential debate between Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party and Jill Stein from the Green Party.

But they are from the far right and far left respectively you might say to yourself, what's the point? Well if they are from the extremes of politics then extremism from both sides seem to agree on a lot of points that seem pretty sensible to me.

Points the main two contenders Obama and Romney have not spoken about at all.

Points such as:
  • Stopping the wars abroad and ending the militarisation of the police at home.
  • Repealing the PATRIOT ACT, the NDAA, TRAPWIRE, the warrantless wiretapping, scrapping the TSA porno scanners and stopping the rise towards Amerika the police state that everyone can see approaching.
  • Closing the hundreds of military bases around the globe and stopping the endless war on a tactic that can never be won i.e. the war on terror.
  • Stopping another pointless war that will never be won i.e. the war on drugs. Imagine how much tax revenue would be created to fill your empty coffers by not wasting police time, building endless prisons and taxing a safer, cleaner version of the drugs people are always going to use and have done since the beginning of time?
  • Using those billions of dollars that you would save by doing this to do something much more productive whether it be fixing the massive deficit and cutting national debt or giving everyone free health care and a chance to get themselves back on their feet after the bankster take over of 2008.
  • Stopping the crushing corporate control of the banksters, ending the FED and putting the people that ruined the worlds economy in jail and not in charge of the country.
  • Preventing wars and promoting democracy by being an example to the world as your country used to be. Instead of forcing democracy down other countries throats with drone attacks, torture and endless imprisonment that only serves to create a new generation of enemies for Americans sons and daughters to fight in the future.
If these all seem like extremist views to you then go ahead make your choice between the lesser of two evils at the ballot box today.

However in a few years time when your country is at war in Iran and extending the deficit to pay for it. Or cutting your local fire and police stations, closing schools and libraries all to pay for tax cuts to the top 1%. The same people who helped destroy your economy and have been the only segment of society to actually prosper since 2008, then you have no-one else to blame but your broken political system.

A political system that makes it so hard for third party candidates to get a national platform they have to rely on foreign TV stations and alternative websites to bring you their debates and hear people answer the questions that really matter in the age of surveillance and never ending wars.

It is a political system that makes it necessary for you to have to bend over to lobbyists and corporate interests to fund the millions of dollars required to run for President.

The money required to pay for adverts and robot calls has to come from somewhere and they just don't have the funds at the moment. Plus you can forget about getting a chance to debate the main two parties on a level footing as that little dance is all tied up in a neat little bow between both camps.

Ron Paul did a good job staying in the GOP race long enough to bring some of the libertarian ideas to the forefront of people's minds but once Mitt Romney had been selected it was game over. It was left to the victors of the Citizens United decision to bombard your country with lies and mis-truths in their hope to get you to vote for more of the same politics that America has had for the last twenty years whether it be Democrat or Republican in control.

It doesn't matter whether Mitt Romney or Barack Obama is elected as you know that nothing of real substance will change.

Democrats are voting in a defensive move in the knowledge that Obama is not the President who they had hoped would bring the change they had voted for 4 years ago. In fact he carried on and extended some of the worst Bush era policies. Policies that make the Democratic party a very illiberal "left-wing" party.

A left wing party that's idea of free health care was a sop to insurance companies that forces and fines people for not buying a product that wouldn't meet the standards of nearly every other western nation that provides health care free at the point of use to their citizens. They are also a party that thinks assassinating US citizens without trial is a wise and liberal thing to do.

A real left wing party would not be building up a police state around you brick by brick with an all invasive system like TRAPWIRE to track your every move. However they are voting for Obama only because they fear Romney would make things worse not better.

Republicans are voting in the misguided belief that Obama is some kind of Communist Muslim and that only a businessman who has put companies through bankruptcy whilst still making money for himself, and knows what it's like to offshore US jobs to China is required to get American growing again.

I just hope they don't feel disappointed if he is elected and a couple years down the road they are embroiled in another Middle Eastern war, with the police state still growing around them and any kind of a social safety net that they may need to rely on in the future has gone so that Romney's backers can get their tax cuts.

It is a difficult choice when your only options are between two people who are so similar and it's difficult to tell which one is worse.

However at the very least you need to know that there are other candidates out there wanting your vote. You should also want to know what they want to offer you before you put your mark next to Obama or Romney, whoever you think is the lesser of the evils.

Who should become the next most powerful man in the world?

Who should become President of the United States?

By Dark Politricks

This is a follow on from my seemingly popular article called "does anyone really thinks that voting for Mitt Romney will bring real change to the USA.

As I state quite clearly at the beginning of that article, if you dislike or even hate the current US President, Barack Obama, then I agree with your sentiment.

However is hating someone and their policies enough of a good reason to vote in someone who is potentially worse for your economy, liberty, safety and ultimately your country?

Is voting for Mitt Romney, actually voting for the lesser of two evils and if it is then is voting for any kind of evil morally acceptable?

As a Brit I often get asked to "stay out" of "our" American politics. Or to keep my nose out of American Presidential elections.

However it is pretty clear, at least to me over my adult life, that the US President is not only the leader of the USA but the figurehead of the most powerful super power in the world whose decisions and actions effect the lives of people all across the globe.

Whether the leader of the USA should have this much power over the rest of us is a very pertinent question yet one that is hardly, if ever, mentioned in the US mainstream media let alone the US Presidential debates.

However it is a question that the rest of the world knows the importance of, and people all the way from Pakistan to Australia, China to Germany and Brazil to the UK realise that whoever sits in that chair behind the oval desk can have a dramatic effect over the lives of people across the globes life.

For example if you live in Pakistan the leader of the USA could decide whether your family members are counted as "collateral damage" in a drone strike.

If you are Japanese it's whether a US Army soldier will rape your daughter and get away with it due to the "special contract" America makes any country hosting their soldiers and bases sign.

If your Australian it's whether or new US Navy base will be created to help ring fence China and bring your country into any future war with the next emerging super power.

If your Russian it's whether or not your country is gong to be designated as the top enemy of the USA as Romney stated and whether or not you will be ring fenced in by new NATO members and a missile "defense" system that could be used to attack your nation.

For us Brits it's down to the level of humiliation we will have to suffer by watching our politicians make sickeningly arse licking speeches to your congress as Gordon Brown and Tony Blair recently did.

It is also how far up your arse we will hang as a nation and how many of our young soldiers will die fighting the next war we feel duty bound to join you in.

If it's China it's the level of hostility you can expect to face from the next President. Will they see you as a nation that is propping up your failing economy by constantly buying your worthless Treasury bonds or will you be labelled a currency manipulator and then watch as the fading US star tries to fight it's way out of decline by picking a fight with you over Taiwan or Japan.

If it's Iran it's whether or not you are going to be attacked within 6 months or a year. Whether diplomacy will be given any form of a chance or whether the next President will bend straight over to the next Israeli PM and go to war for that country yet again in the Middle East.

Sending US troops to die in foreign lands to fight in deserts that they have no right being in, for a war that is both hypocritical and pointless on many grounds.

You see we non Americans DO have a voice and DO have thoughts about the way the most powerful country in the world should behave in the next 4 years.

Should it follow the neo-con policy of never-ending war, torture, and going it alone against world opinion. Or will they retreat back inside their own borders, become isolationist and chose to sort out their own economy and decimation of their civil rights before deciding to spread "human rights" and "democracy" across the world again.

Policies that many of us see as hypocritical due to their own behaviour and breeches of Human Rights that have become so famous aka Gitmo, Abu Ghrai, Dick Cheney's personal assassination squad and now Obama's king like behaviour to chose who lives and dies whether they are American or not.

Unlike the "I agree with Mitt, I agree with the President" farce of the last Presidential debate which was supposedly about foreign policy there are in fact third party candidates from parties such as the Libertarian Party or the Green Party who DO debate such questions that we mere foreigners ask. Questions such as:
  • Should America be the worlds policeman? Especially during a time of "austerity" in which the US economy is running purely on money conjured out of thin air.
  • Should this sham of a financial system in which the FED and the Treasury allow banksters like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan to take advantage of to make themselves rich even exist at all?
  • Why do Americans feel the need to dance to Israel's tune and start and then fight wars that are not in the USA's best interest?
  • Why is the American political system so corrupt that the Supreme Court can give corporations all the same rights as people apart from the right to be imprisoned or executed for their high crimes and treason.
  • Is it fair that overseas countries and corporations can now pump obscene amounts of money into the Presidential election through Super PAC's and the aforementioned Citizens United decision and affect the outcome of an election to their benefit. All whilst home grown political parties such as the Greens or the Libertarians get hard;y any air time to make their point on mainstream media and are excluded from the televised Presidential debates which are designed to keep the two headed snake duopoly of a corrupt and owned political system in it's current broken and corrupt form.
Israel obviously knows the importance of being able to control or "lobby" the US President to get what they want and now with Citizens United China, Iran, Mexico and Russia can as well.

The only problem is that it doesn't really matter who they dump tons of money behind as the same old neo-con, pro-war, pro-Israel. amti-Muslim, anti-civil liberty policies will continue unabated whichever of the two parties leaders get voted in.

Both President Obama and Mitt Romney support:
  1. Wars of aggression.
  2. Bypassing Congress and the War Act to carry out wars that seemingly help their enemies gain control of important regions of the world i.e Libya and Syria.
  3. Their support of rebel armies fighting existing regimes that the USA dislikes such as Syria, which maybe authoritarian in nature but are not full of al-Qaeda members and fundamentalist Jihadists who commit massacres en masse, film them and then upload them to YouTube.
  4. Supporting drone strikes that kill 50 civilians, women and children for every "Terrorist" killed.
  5. Both support the curbing of civil liberties at home, the NDAA, the PATRIOT ACT and other authoritarian pieces of legislation that have curtailed American citizens liberties at home.
  6. Both candidates claim to support the constitution whilst doing everything they can to bypass it - for the good of the American citizen of course.
  7. Both are big government in their own way.
  8. Both are just figureheads for their real puppet masters and bend over to powerful lobbyists.
  9. Both are pro-Israel and seemingly allow that country to literally get away with murder - including the murder of American citizens like Furkan Dogan.
  10. And the list goes on as my article shows > "Does anyone really thinks that voting for Mitt Romney will bring real change to the USA?
Whilst the USA population is probably blissfully unaware of the other candidates in the race we in the alternative media have been pushing for an expansion of the closed debate the current two possible POTUS's are having.

Another third party candidate debate between the Green Parties Jill Stein and Libertarian parties Gary Johnson is happening this week. Make sure to watch it if you can.

This is the first debate between all four third party presidential candidates, Jill Stein, Rocky Anderson, Virgil Goode and Gary Johnson here.

Please take your time and let me know who you plan to vote for in the election or if you live outside America who you think should become President.
