TRAPWIRE mixed with Brain Hacking could lead to the ultimate high tech Surveillance State

By Dark Politricks

For those of you who haven't heard about TRAPWIRE it is a system that has the ability to grab video from far-flung CCTV and surveillance cameras located in stores, casinos and other businesses around the country and then uses sophisticated facial recognition software to identify people of interest.

Every few seconds, data picked up at surveillance points by CCTV cameras in major cities and landmarks across the United States are recorded digitally on the spot, then encrypted and instantaneously delivered to a fortified central database center at an undisclosed location to be aggregated with other intelligence.

Mixed with huge NSA and CIA super computers this information allows the powers that be to identify people who are on the run, have illegally entered the country, are possible terrorists or "domestic extremists" or maybe they just want to track a person of interests movements as they move around their town.

This system makes no distinction between good people and bad - it scans us all.

If you have ever seen the TV programme "Person of Interest" in which a computer programmer developed a system after 9.11 that does exactly what TRAPWIRE does then it doesn't seem so far fetched as some TV commentators have stated.

Now add the ability to track "people of interest" all around the country as they move from car, on to the road and then back home with CCTV, GPS in your phone (and triangulation from phone masts if GPS is turned off), constant tracking on the Internet, XRays at airports and now train stations and you have a surveillance state that people like George Orwell could only dream of.

Now add that to the story that scientists can now "hack your brain" and steal information such as PIN numbers and Bank details and you can see how this already scary brave new world could turn into a nightmare for the common man.

In a few years time these scientists will probably be able to integrate parts of their new "brain hacking system" into systems like TRAPWIRE and you can imagine the possibilities.

As a TRAPWIRE linked camera spots you having an argument it can detect your levels of stress and adrenaline, score you for possible signs of malcontent and then send in the boys in blue to taser and pepper spray you until you submit to their will.

It might seem far fetched but then I would never think our countries would implement a global surveillance system that tracked everybody, stored our details on huge super computers and logged our every move.

Although scientists are at the beginning of their "brain hacking" mission I am sure the NSA and other state agencies would be very interested in their work and who knows how much further they have really gone - all redacted due to "National Security" of course. Who knows this technology could already be in use without our knowledge.

When our leaders tell us they have prevented terrorist attacks and we find out that really they were dupes and patsies led on by the FBI to commit crimes they wouldn't have done on their own, we really have no idea if we are really under threat at home at all.

Do we need all this high tech and very expensive computer technology monitoring our every move or is it just because "they can" that they are doing it?

What I do know is that there hasn't been a major terrorist attack by al-Qaeda in the USA or Europe for quite a few years and bin-Laden is dead as well as numerous number 2's who seem to get killed every other week by a drone strike.

Drone strikes by the way that seem to kill more civillians that terrorists and only create more and more people who will want to hurt us in the future. Also drones that have somehow made their way back home to fly the skies of the USA - do they think they will be fighting terrorists in the streets of America in the near future?

When you next laugh at "conspiracy theorists" who think that they are being watched, monitored and that the state is trying to make the domestic population the enemy just remember that all of the following are TRUE:

-The NSA is building a spy center the size of a city in UTAH that will have bottomless databases storing all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.”

It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program created during the first term of the Bush administration—an effort that was killed by Congress in 2003 after it caused an outcry over its potential for invading Americans’ privacy.

-ECHELON has been a reality for many decades, listening into our phone calls and electronic communications for trigger words and signs of malcontent.

-The USA has turned from the home of the free to a semi-dictatorship in which American citizens can be locked up indefinitely without charge, killed abroad (or at home) without any judicial process on the say so of the President. Also since 9.11 America is still living under "emergency laws" which give the President almost dictatorial powers including 500 dormant legal provisions, including those allowing him to impose censorship and martial law.

-NSA employee William Binney revealed this year that the NSA has a dossier on virtually every American - very Stasi like of America to do this don't you think?

-The Internet is constantly monitored and new laws mean that server log files are kept for years in case they need to be reviewed at a later date. This is on top of repeated attempts by governments to introduce laws to implement "kill switches", and ways to shut down websites they don't like.

-Almost 900,000 Americans have hold top-secret security clearances. How many others hold lower security level clearances?

-All European banking details are handed over to the USA after the EU found out the American intelligence services, including the CIA and other agencies, had been accessing European banking data illegally via SWIFT anyway - so they just made it legal so that it could continue - that's how much they care about your privacy people!

-All the technological tools we use such as FacebookiPhonesGoogle and Microsoft have been found to breach our privacy by illegally storing our data or selling it to advertisers and even uploading it to police tools so they can know where we have been.

-We are walking into a surveillance state by consent as kids growing up today have no concept of privacy and constantly put pictures and data online that years ago would have been kept personal. Now it is sold to advertisers and to government agencies for tracking social groups and networks and their possible intent.

-The UK government has reneged on promises to roll back Labour's surveillance society by committing themselves to rolling out a super computer system to track UK citizens online in real time. As the Sunday Times revealed: "Internet companies will be told to install thousands of pieces of hardware to allow GCHQ, the government’s eavesdropping centre, to scrutinise “on demand” every phone call made, text message and email sent and website accessed in real time."

-Within the next couple of years, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will instantly know everything about your body, clothes, and luggage with a new laser-based molecular scanner fired from 164 feet (50 meters) away. From traces of drugs or gun powder on your clothes to what you had for breakfast to the adrenaline level in your body agents will be able to get any information they want without even touching you or you knowing about it.

Now imagine if these super computers all had the ability to read your mind as well from a distance. How scary would that be?

Should the Sun have printed photos of naked Prince Harry?

Should the Sun have printed photos of naked Prince Harry?

By Dark Politricks

Today the Sun has printed the naked photos of Prince Harry in Las Vegas which were apparently taken by random people who Harry and his friends had met in Las Vegas and invited up to their apartment for "fun and frolics".

After much ringing about once the photos were put up on the internet by one of the "randoms" hoping to make some money from their camera phone shot, the UK paper industry decided to not print the photos.
This was probably due to the ongoing Leveson  inquiry into Press Standards and the fact that journalists have risen into the top 3 most hated professions along with Bankers and Politicians.

It had to be Rupert Murdoch and his Sun newspaper, who's cousin the News of the World was shut down earlier this year, who broke the understanding between Fleet St papers.

He is obviously flexing his muscles and probably out for a bit of revenge after he and his son, his friends and the paper he loved so much which was attacked and vilified for it's disgraceful behaviour during the phone hacking scandal. The scandal that made it perfectly clear that the company was full of Editors who were apparently all a bunch of liars and criminals.

Their crimes went from phone hacking dead girls mobile phone voice-mails to paying police for information and possibly perjury (if lying in front of select committees constitutes a crime ).
Legal cases are ongoing and many ex News of the World staff have been charged with crimes and await their fate.

Therefore it is no surprise to see the rag I wouldn't even wipe my bum with print these photos to sell more toilet paper to the public.

Yes the photos are on the web and if people want to look at them (if that's their turn on) then they are easily accessible with a Google search. However the Sun believes it is in the "public interest" to see people partying in private.

Their excuse is that it is the fact the pictures are of a member of the Royal family that makes it in the public interest.

Apparently Royals can expect no privacy wherever they are from the toe sucking episode with Princess Fergie in the 80's to the chasing and killing of Prince Harry's mum in France and now to the printing of photos of a supposedly "private" party.

For one thing our Royal Family has been filled with loons, nutters, sex and drug addicts for hundreds of years. It is only with modern technology, camera phones, long lens cameras and spy cameras that these antics have been brought to more public attention.

It's not like Harry's uncle Prince Andrew is not unknown for his liking of ladies and a bit of "philandering" or older Kings didn't have mistresses or weird antics. There is even a theory that Jack the Ripper was one of the mentally ill Victorian princes of the time.

I have no love for the Royal Family which you can read about here and here however Prince Harry is probably the most likeable of all the Royals.

He fights for our country, he obviously has issues with his father due to the rumour that his real dad is James Hewitt.

Apparently Prince Charles treats Prince William totally different than Harry but then without an independent DNA test we will never know - but this doesn't stop the rumours.

Harry maybe a bit of lad who likes to party and have fun when he is not on the battlefield. And he would have spent more time out in Afghanistan fighting for his country if it wasn't for papers like the Sun "breaking" the story that he was out there fighting  which totally ruined his chances of staying for fear of kidnap by the Taliban.

I have no issue with what Prince Harry got up to in Las Vegas - "what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas" - is the saying but the Sun obviously doesn't see it that way. What I take issue with is the whole Royal Family in general.

Yes they bring American tourists in to spend their dollars touring palaces but the whole concept of a family that is "above" the general public due to luck of birth alone is one that should be abolished.
The Crown is the law - the Queen is the Crown.

The Queen or King - maybe even Price Harry if something happened to King William once his dad is dead would never face a trial in court for anything - ever!

They are above us mere mortals and only through stealing and killing our ancestors hundreds of years ago.

If Prince Harry (if he became King - or maybe even now) actually did something criminal - say beat someone up at one of these drunken parties he would never see a day in court like we would if we had done the same.

Crown versus Crown - not int this meritocratic England we all love so much.
We do not need a monarchy.

We are supposedly rebalancing our economy - lets start by getting rid of the Royal tourism industry by becoming a country without a Royal Family living above the law and living off our taxes and land.

We do not need a President - we have a Parliament made up of Members of the Public and a Prime Minister who can (and already does) represent us on the world stage at meetings and important events.

Adding another election for ex Prime Minisiters and people we hate but have no alternative for is just complicating things. Get rid of the royals, sell off all their land and use it for building low cost houses for all the millions of people on council waiting lists to rent or buy.

The Palaces can stay so that Americans can take their photos and pay us money for the privellege - they never get to see the Queen anyway - so nothing will change there.

We have no need for a Royal family in this day and age and whilst Prince Harry maybe the most normal of the whole lot in my eyes he shouldn't be partying on my taxes!

So tell me what you think about the Royal family and whether or not the Sun should have printed photos of naked Prince Harry?

Is Julian Assange just a criminal on the run or a hero?

Is Julian Assange a hero or a rapist trying to avoid justice

By Dark Politricks

After the much awaited speech given from the balcony of the very unluxurious Ecuadorian embassy by Julian Assange the other day the whole world is debating the question - "Is Julian Assange a hero or a rapist trying to avoid justice".

The text of the speech in full is at the bottom of the page but it has led commentators all around the world to denounce Julian Assange as just a sex offender trying to avoid justice whilst totally ignoring the rest of the relevant pieces surrounding his case.

Quotes about the speech:
"what was much more serious - the elephant in the room, so to speak - was Assange's wilful failure to say anything about the actual reason that the Swedish police want to question him." - Andy McSmith - The Independent.
"Odious Julian Assange loved every second of his pompous balcony rant. His speech was long on egotistical claptrap, but oddly failed to mention what this extradition case is actually about — the rape of one woman and sexual molestation of another." - The Sun
"Not since the Argentines invaded the Falklands has Britain had its tail so humiliatingly tweaked by a Latin American dictatorship. Suddenly, Ecuador is on the lips of people who previously would have struggled to find it on a map. All this merry mayhem is, of course, being orchestrated by Assange, who continues to play the British governing class for suckers." - Melanie Phillips - Daily Mail
"He's not going anywhere"' Metropolitan police officer.

In fact you would be hard pressed to find many mainstream media commentators giving a good word to Julian who is facing sexual assault charges - charges that the Ecuadorian President said the other day do not even exist on his countries law books - like many others.

Charges that relate to two WikiLeak "groupies" who had sex with Assange on consecutive nights and allowed him to have sex without a condom. They may have protested about that last bit once they found out about each other but not before and it seems a strange law to charge someone on in the first place. If we were arresting every man in the world who didn't like wearing a condom when having sex there would be very few men left.

However it seems these constitute crimes in Sweden and many people ask why Julian doesn't just go and face his accusers.

The answer is simple.

He is very, very afraid that the Swedes will pass him along to the the American's who are literally frothing at the mouth at the damage he has done to their national security. First by realising tapes of their pilots cheering as they massacred a crowd of reporters and men without guns in Iraq and then the WikiLeaks release of the #Cablegate stash of US embassy emails which have made many a Middle Eastern nation look like two faced liars who say one thing in public and another to their neighbours in private.

More worryingly for Assange is the way that the presumed source of the information a Private Bradley Manning has been treated by the US military. He has been stripped naked, held in a cell for many months without anything to do and basically treated in the most horrible way possible - some even claim this constitutes torture.

He is now facing a charge of possible death or life imprisonment (if prosecutors keep their word)  for communicating national defense information to an unauthorized source and aiding the enemy. His chances do not look good.

Therefore as the UK does not extradite to countries where there is  the possibility of the death penalty and a multitude of US commentators and government employees have stated that he deserves two in the head. It is no wonder Julian is afraid of going to Sweden as he honestly believes it is a ruse to get him sent to the USA.

As no charges have actually been laid out against Assange and the Swedish police only want to "question him" it seems far fetched that in this day and age a compromise could not be made out which allowed for this questioning.

Over a hundred years ago there was this amazing invention called the telephone that allowed people at far distance from each other to communicate by voice.

In the last twenty years we have had Skype, Video Conferencing, Messenger and other tools that would allow for a full face to face interview that could be recorded, analysed and allow the Swedish police to ask their questions without any expensive plane travel.

But why should Julian Assange get special treatment you might ask.

Well he shouldn't and the the same rules should apply to all European citizens.

The European Arrest Warrant is a joke that allows Brits to be dragged from their beds and sent of to Eastern European jails on the say so of a Polish or Greek police commander.

Just like the unfair and unbalanced UK to USA extradition treaty. Which can see British people carted off to spend long time in orange jumpsuits without any evidence being examined in a UK court first as a US citizen has the right to before extradition here. Both of these extradition treaties should be abolished ASAP.

Therefore I don't say that Julian is just trying to avoid spurious charges that only emerged after each woman found out about the other but I say that he is blatantly scared shitless of being sent to the USA.

Also as I predicted in my last article the whole of South America is now standing in unison behind Ecuador after the British threat to storm their embassy which has only increased tension with a region that we are already having difficulty with.

From the  BBC news website.
The Union of South American Nations said it backed Ecuador after Mr Assange publicly thanked it and other South American countries for their support.

A document agreed at the Union of South American Nations meeting said it supported the country "in the face of the threat" to its London embassy.

.. in the context of the UK's perceived heavy-handed approach to the recent question of Argentina's renewed claim over the Falkland Islands - the British government's reputation in South America was undoubtedly being affected by this stand-off.

As I predicted - the fact that a country with a far from clean human rights history is making supposed western liberal and free countries look like despotic dangers to world civility is a stain on our own moral standing across the world. Plus it has swelled the chest of Latin and South America to extreme proportions.

If the Brits storm the embassy they will look like criminals in the eyes of many countries - fairly or not and if they let Julian hop onto a plane to Ecuador they will look like sops in the eyes of the USA and a million Daily Mail readers eyes.

The best thing would be to come to a compromise as suggested by Ecuador's President Rafael Correa who suggested Mr Assange could co-operate with Sweden but only if assurances were given that there would be no extradition to a third country. Any breaking of such an agreement would make the USA look like the "great Satan" Iran always claims they are and it would allow Julian to fulfill his obligations to face Swedish police questions and possible charges.

Whatever happens it looks like a farce from both sides of the argument.

Here is the full text of Julian Assange's speech:

I am here today because I cannot be there with you today, but thank you for coming. Thank you for your resolve, your generosity and spirit.

On Wednesday night, after a threat was sent to this embassy, and police descended on this building, you came out in the middle of the night to watch over it, and you brought the world’s eyes with you.

Inside the embassy, after dark, I could hear teams of police swarming up into the building through the internal fire escape. But I knew that there would be witnesses and that is because of you.

If the UK did not throw away the Vienna Conventions the other night, it is because the world was watching and the world was watching because you were watching.

The next time somebody tells you that it is pointless to defend those rights we hold dear, remind them of your vigil in the dark before the embassy of Ecuador. Remind them how in the morning the sun came up on a different world, and a courageous Latin American nation took a stand for justice.

And so, to those brave people, I thank President Correa for the courage he has shown in considering and in granting me political asylum. And I also thank the government, and the particular Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patino, who have upheld the Ecuadorian Constitution and its notion of universal citizenship in their consideration of my asylum

And to the Ecuadorian people for supporting and defending this Constitution. And I also have a debt of gratitude to the staff of the embassy, whose families live in London, and who have been showing me hospitality and kindness despite the threats we’ve all received.

This Friday there will be an emergency meeting of the foreign ministers of Latin America in Washington, DC, to address this very situation. And so I am grateful to those people and governments of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Venezuela and to all other Latin American countries who have come out to defend the right to asylum.

To the people of the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Australia, who have supported me in strength, even when their governments have not. And to those wiser heads in government who are still fighting for justice. Your day will come.

To the staff, supporters and sources of WikiLeaks, whose courage and commitment and loyalty has seen no equal.

To my family and to my children, who have been denied their father. Forgive me. We will be reunited soon.

As WikiLeaks stands under threat, so does the freedom of expression, and the health of our societies. We must use this moment to articulate the choice that is before the government of the United States of America.

Will it return to and reaffirm the revolutionary values it was founded on? Or will it lurch off the precipice, dragging us all into a dangerous and oppressive world, in which journalists fall silent under the fear of prosecution and citizens must whisper in the dark?

I say it must turn back.

I ask President Obama to do the right thing.

The United States must renounce its witch-hunt against WikiLeaks.

The United States must dissolve its FBI investigation.

The United States must vow that it will not seek to prosecute our staff or our supporters.

The United States must pledge before the world that it will not pursue journalists for shining a light on the secret crimes of the powerful.

There must be no more foolish talk about prosecuting any media organization, be it WikiLeaks or be it the New York Times.

The US administration’s war on whistleblowers must end.

Thomas Drake, and William Binney, and John Kiriakou and the other heroic US whistleblowers must — they must be pardoned and compensated for the hardships they’ve endured as servants of the public record.

And the Army Private who remains in a military prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, who was found by the United Nations to have endured months of torturous detention in Quantico, Virginia, and who has yet — after two years in prison — to see a trial—He must be released. Bradley Manning must be released. If Bradley Manning did as he accused, he is a hero and an example to all of us and one of the world’s foremost political prisoners. Bradley Manning must be released.

On Wednesday, Bradley Manning spent his 815th day of detention without trial. The legal maximum is 120 days.

On Thursday, my friend, Nabeel Rajab, president of the Bahrain Human Rights Center, was sentenced to 3 years for a tweet.

On Friday, a Russian band [Pussy Riot] was sentenced to 2 years in jail for a political performance.

There is unity in the oppression.

There must be absolute unity and determination in the response.

Thank you.

Ecuador grants Julian Assange asylum but the UK threatens to storm the embassy and take him forcibly

By Dark Politricks

So if you haven't heard yet Ecuador after months of waiting has finally offered Julian Assange asylum.

From the BBC site:
Ecuador has granted asylum to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange two months after he took refuge in its London embassy while fighting extradition from the UK.
It cited fears that Mr Assange's human rights might be violated. Foreign Secretary William Hague said the UK would not allow Mr Assange's safe passage out of the country.
This comes after threats from the UK government that they would forcibly enter the embassy, breaking all international norms and arrest Julian whether he was on Ecuadorian soil or not.

Yes we have sent the SAS into the Iranian embassy before but this was after a hostage situation.

Not to arrest a man who is blatantly being set-up to be extradited to Sweden just so he can be passed to the USA and spend the rest of his life in an orange jumpsuit or even tied to a gurney as some US commentators have wished.

Remember this is a man who the Swedish police want to "question" on allegations that he had sex with two women on consecutive nights and didn't wear a condom. If it was rape, and the women really didn't want him to have sex without a condom then it would be rape he would be getting questioned on and not these weird charges that seemingly only exist in Sweden.

Instead it looks like a Prima facia case of two women scorned once they found out they were not the only Swedish women in Julian's life.

I wonder how they will feel if they see their once idol being sent down for life in a US court room all because they couldn't handle the fact he had sex with another woman.

The Swedish police have been offered numerous chances to either interview Julian over the phone or come to the Ecuadorian embassy to interview him in person but they have turned them all down.

This only makes me thing the true purposes of their wish to interview him on Swedish soil is nothing more than a ruse to then pass him off to their US masters.

I used to think Sweden was a pretty liberal country but then so was Holland before they started shutting down the coffee shops to non Dutch people and going big time on the Islamophobia.

Whether you like Julian Assange or WikiLeaks or not you have to admire his guts for sticking two fingers up to the establishment and for Ecuador doing the same.

How they will manage to get Julian Assange out the county though is another matter. ]

As soon as he walks out the door I reckon a dozen of London's finest truncheon wielding, women beating, minority beating, protester killing, stun gun firing cops will be on top of him in an instant.

Maybe a helicopter on the roof with a transfer to a plane off the coast is the only option.

Any shooting down of such a helicopter will cause havoc and be treated as a sign of war and I wouldn't be surpised if Argentina weighed in on the Falkland Island issue which has boiled up again.

Latin America is no longer the USA's playground and they have the balls to say what they want when they want and from the granting of aslyum to Julian Assange doing what they want as well.

Why we are going full out to capture a man who has revealed the massacring of civilians in Iraq, the illegal bugging of UN delegates by US officials as well as numerous other illegal activities in the #Cablegate release I don't know.

It sure puts an end to our respect for "human rights" and our supposed protection for whistle blowers when we know what is going to happen to Julian.

All the time we bleat on about human rights abuses in Syria we support and fund al-Qaeda on the one hand and supposedly fight them on the other all the way from Afghanistan, Kosovo, Libya and now Syria.

Our hypocrisy on human rights and our phony war on terror knows no limits.

Our world is upside down at the moment and our support for terrorism in one country whilst we ignore human rights abuses in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia along with our own silencing of voices who speak truth to power is a sign of the times we are living in.

I just hope Julian manages to make it out the country without being shot or tasered first.

Ron Paul attacks the beat of war drums to Iran an Syria in a speech to Congress

By Dark Politricks

Democrat Dennis Kucinich gives way to his friend and comrade on many issues regarding civil liberties, war, foreign policy, the FED and many other things, Ron Paul, in the debate on the Iran Sanctions Bill. Or as Ron Paul likes to call it "The Obsession with Iran Act 2012."

A Bill that was passed anyway 421-6. What a surprise - only a few Congressmen with morals and the strength to say no to their party!

All reasons these two lonely voices are on my Good Guy List.

He says all of the following:
"A vote for this … will show that it’s just one more step to another war that we don’t need," the congressman said in an Aug. 1 speech against the bill.
"We have not been provoked, [Iran] is not a threat to our national security and we should not be doing this. For the past 10 to 15 years we've been obsessed with this idea that we go to war and try to solve all the problems of the world. At the same time, it is bankrupting us."
"What we continue to be doing is obsess with Iran and the idea that Iran is a threat to our national security," the congressman said. "Iran happens to be a Third World nation. They have no significant navy, air force, or intercontinental ballistic missiles."
"Do you think we’re protecting civil liberties by arbitrarily dropping drones or threatening to drop drones any place in the world, with innocent people dying?" the congressman said.
"If we want to really care about civil liberties in Syria, why don’t we really care about the secret prisons we have and the history of torture we have in this country?" While the US is making kill lists, it is preaching for civil liberties abroad and "poking our nose in other people’s affairs, just looking for the chance to start another war," this time in Iran, Ron Paul said.
As Ron Paul says in his speech the Iranian sanctions bill is an act of war and as I have said before we are already at war with Iran and our support of terrorist groups like the MEK and Jundalah who blow up innocent civilians in mosques and scientists in their cars for their Mossad/CIA paymasters is only the scratch of the surface of the covert proxy war already being fought out by US freedom fighters (really) terrorists and the Iranian regime.

As I said months ago America has lost any moral authority it once had in the world by it's recent foreign policy actions.

It's hypocritical support of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as they crush dissent and attack human rights every day whilst bleating on about the abuses in other nations who are not their friends or sell them large quantities of oil whilst holding US military bases in their territories only makes their hypocrisy more visible to the rest of the world.

When the US/UK/French axis of war attacks countries like Iran and Syria for "targeted killings" all the while holding their own "kill lists" ( death by executive order ). They are being more than a little choosy in who they accuse of human rights violations especially as they let one one of the worlds biggest, China, lend them billions of dollars so they can go to war on tick.

All the while they continue to bankrupt America by fighting wars they cannot afford and keep Gitmo open with many innocent detainees still locked up denied the right of habeas corpus.

Plus they still have the massive blemish of torture at prisons from Afghanistan, Iraq and Cuba on their sheet which they need to remove before any moral authority can be restored to their words and actions.

They use drones to kill innocent people all across the world in their "shadow wars" and claim that no civilians have died purely because they count dead males of certain ages as enemy combatants whether they are or not. Plus who can be bothered to count the dead when a drone drops a bomb in Pakistan that is controlled from Langley.

Drones that now fly the skies over the US in a prequel to a Dark Angel world of instant scanning and automated minority report style pre-crime detection. With a police that is looking more like an armed forces brigade every day.

Driving tanks and using special military grade armour and weaponry to break up small protests or break into citizens houses and shoot dead people or dogs who dare bark too loud all the while looking for small amounts of pot.

Or who can forget the recent Occupy Protests in which cops beat up grannies and held open students noses so that they can shoot pepper spray down their throats  just because they dared to sit down in a peaceful line to protest. It is no wonder people are wondering why the home of the free has become the home of Orwell's worst dreams.

Even the upcoming US Presidential election looks like a choice between two useless contestants. Whoever wins nothing will change unless the American public wake up and vote in someone with morals, a sense of America's true actions in the world and at least a modicum of knowledge about why half the world wants to kill them.

If only there was some way of the American people showing their displeasure at the road it's taking that doesn't involve voting in a GOP version of Obama or keeping a very non-liberal Democrat as President both of which who will do nothing to change the direction America is going in....

This new rebel army massacre won't stop the USA/UK's support for the Free Syrian Army

By Dark Politricks

A new video released by Syrian rebels fighting President Assad in Syria apparently showing them shooting captured troops loyal to President Assad has not been mentioned in the western media but the western TV stations love to parrot the line whenever the shoe is on the other foot.

You can find some of the video on the Guardian one of the few papers that has some modicum of balance even though it is definitely not independent in any way it is mostly anti-war in its articles. The text above the video goes:
"Amateur footage purports to show pro-Assad militia captured by rebels, who are seen collecting their dead as fierce clashes continue in Aleppo. Government forces continue to shell Syria's largest city, including the rebel stronghold of Salaheddin. The Turkish prime minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and US defence secretary, Leon Panetta, say time is running out for Syrian president Bashar al-Assad"
Not exactly singing the same sort of tune as the "town about to be massacred" and "Assad troops massacre civilians and rebels" etc that has been covering the media over the weeks including by the same Guardian paper trying to give some form of balance however small to both sides of this civil war in Syria.

You can find more balanced views (in that I mean a view opposing the western one so that you can make your own mind up) on rt.com or Russia Today.

Yes the same international TV station that is attacked by Hillary Clinton, Western news pundits and others for its "pro-Kremlin" views, a KGB front and so on. The video they show is below:

The article that goes with it can be found here: War Crime? Syrian rebels execute captured policeman on tape.

This article has more than a slightly different slant on matters than the Guardian one which goes to show how one journalist's writing can turn A into B and people who only read from one news source will undoubtedly get a skewed outlook on matters.

Now I would never advise anyone to get their news only from one source but you should never, never just believe what you are told by the Western media who are mostly owned and controlled by the same few rich families and organisations.

Editorial control they call it, a reason given by Julian Assange when he fell out with the Guardian when they refused to show certain documents, videos from his #cablegate release.

The same one that might see him end up in an orange jumpsuit in the USA.

Why the Swedish police cannot just interview him over the phone or in the Ecuadorian embassy I don't know but he hasn't even been charged with a crime.

Supposedly they only want to talk to him about about certain crimes that can only be described as "unusual" and involve two girls who were WikiLeak "fans" or "benefactors" who obviously had a crush on him having sex with him on consecutive nights.

The two girls found out about each other and as some may say - "Hell has no fury like a woman  scorned" they both went to the police and accused Julian of having sex with him without wearing a condom!

Now I don't know how this is a crime as they obviously let him do it otherwise it would be rape or sexual assault but nonetheless the Swedes want him in their country for interviewing.

At the moment he is in the Ecuadorian embassy in London waiting for the Ecuadorian's to make their mind up about asylum whilst I guess the Americans threaten that country with everything under the sun but it all seems like madness to me.

If you could be arrested and locked up for having sex without a condom then how many men out there would be in prison right now?

Anyway back to the point - get your news from opposing points of view and then make your own mind up. Do not believe everything your told whatever channel it comes from.

Russia Today may be the spawn of the KGB and Kremlin propaganda in some peoples eyes but it most definitely gives a voice to those people the western media overlook.

However remember this is the channel that gave Julian Assange his own "The World Tomorrow" interview show to talk to people the western news channels wouldn't dare talk to.

If I want news or details of political crimes and Russian mafia like governance then I wouldn't expect Russia Today to give it to me.

In the same way I don't expect my countries own news channels to attack their government and the crush of our civil rights and the rising police state in the same way.

However Russia Today allows rebels, dissidents, people considered "unpatriotic" and all the other BS names FOX and other channels throw about in the USA to appear on their channels frequently.

Everybody from members of Anonymous, WikiLeaks to Alex Jones, Glenn Greenwald and Norman Finkelstein at the very least.

People the western shows stay away from like a turd on a stick.

So when you hear about Assad and the next town about to be massacred just remember that war crimes are being committed and admitted by the UN Human Rights council by both sides in this civil war.

Only last week the Free Syrian Army committed massive attacks in the capital that killed numerous civilians as well as the Syrian Defence Minister. UN human rights chief Navi Pillay said last week:
"Pillay cited unconfirmed reports of atrocities including executions and shooting of civilians by snipers during recent fighting in the Syrian capital Damascus. Her office had also been receiving an increasing number of reports of opposition fighters torturing or executing prisoners, and reports that unarmed prisoners had been killed in the central prisons of Aleppo and Homs during uprisings in the past week, in violation of international law. "
This is a civil war and should be left as such without all the arming and funding by Saudia Arabia and Qatar with help from US/UK/French war mongerers who don't seem to learn anything.

Especially that if you put religious fanatics into power including your supposed "mortal enemy" you end up with Libya.

A country now run by ex LIFG / al-Qaeda members, rebel armies controlling towns and summary executions of people with links to Gadaffi or black skin.

Just remember what happened when the CIA helped create al-Qaeda in their fight against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Blowback and bombings and then 9.11.

Syria and Libya are a lot closer to home than Afghanistan and before "our help" their leaders, as crazy and despotic as they may seem to us, they were a hell of a lot nicer than our "ally" Saudi Arabia. A medieval country run under ancient barbaric laws with no respect for human rights and women.

If foreign policy was logical this would have been the target of any post-9.11 attack due to the number of hijackers that were Saudi Arabian and all the funding of terror groups it does regularly - but then they supply us oil and Bush's family have a "close" relationship with the House of Saud.

But when has western foreign policy ever been logical and when does the enemy of our enemy stay our enemy and not our friend?
